Project Description
As the flagship event for the SME Finance Forum (managed by the International Finance Corporation), we were responsible for creating and implementing a communications plan that would attract hundreds of global fintech companies, banks and financial institutions to attend a conference in Berlin, Germany. Using a digital campaign focusing on social media, email marketing and traditional partner outreach, the event was the most successful yet, surpassing physical attendance goals by 25 percent. The social media impressions skyrocketed by 110 percent from the previous year’s event.
We collaborated with the event manager and web developer, who were both in separate countries, to enhance the website design and functionality, while also reducing vendor invoice fees and workloads.
