Nice Media Group was the editorial director for Bennett College’s alumnae publication, The Belle Ringer. We developed and copy-edited the stories, and revamped the design of a publication that represents more than 5,500 Black women who were educated at this HBCU for women.
Amazing stories include Belles riding with Rep. John Lewis to the polls for early voting, a Belle delivering a baby in West Africa, and a Belle being the youngest person elected to the Berkeley School Board in California. Features include Rep. Dr. Alma Adams’ HBCU Caucus, and Dr. Sharrelle Barber’s documentary on the late Marielle Franco, a Brazilian politician who was assassinated.
